This volume is a companion text to the \u003cem\u003eLevel Three Teacher Guide, Part 2\u003c\/em\u003e, and the \u003cem\u003eLevel Three Copy Masters\u003c\/em\u003e, which are purchased separately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhy is this volume listed as a “Pilot Edition?”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHillsdale College’s K-12 Education Office is working in conjunction with the curriculum authors at Access Literacy, LLC to introduce the robust, beautiful, and easy-to-use \u003cem\u003eLiteracy Essentials\u003c\/em\u003e curriculum. Beginning in the summer of 2019 we launched pilot editions of the kindergarten curriculum and beta editions of the curriculum for grades 1-3. We have updated the curriculum from beta to pilot by one grade each year, finishing in summer 2022 with the release of the Level Three materials. As we receive feedback from teachers, we aim to replace pilot editions with final versions soon.
